To our future colleagues, the "Future LPTs"—this is your year! The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) generally holds the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) twice a year.
The 2025 Timeline
- March 2025 LEPT:
- Likely Date: March 16, 2025
- Application: Watch out for the deadline in January.
- September 2025 LEPT:
- Likely Date: September 21, 2025
- Application: Usually opens in April/May.
Pro-Tip for LERIS Application
PRC uses the LERIS online system. It glitches... a lot. My advice? Apply at 2:00 AM or 3:00 AM when the traffic is low. Also, make sure your PSA Birth Certificate is the latest version to avoid issues during verification.
Review hard, pray harder. The public school system is waiting for you. We need more passionate teachers in the field!
